Kristi Rau McIntyre' Founding Member - Actor
Kristi Rau McIntyre is a member of the Theatre and Communication Departments at Coastal Carolina University.  She graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in Theatre, and from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master of Fine Arts in Acting.  She spent three years at Theatre Virginia where she got to work in great shows such as Scandals, Moon Over Buffalo, Much Ado About Nothing, Last Night at Ballyhoo, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and the musical version of It's a Wonderful Life.  Kristi has been seen in Coastal Carolina University's Theatre Department's productions of Hamlet as Queen Gertrudeand Lie of the Mind as Lorraine.

Mindi has been acting professionally for 16 years, has an MFA from the University of South Carolina and has appeared regionally at Charlotte Repertory Theatre in Charlotte, North Carolina; South Carolina Shakespeare Festival and Trustus in Columbia, South Carolina; Theatre Three and WaterTower Theater in Dallas, Texas; and the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Roles of note: Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof  at WaterTower Theatre - 2003 Leon Rabin Award, Best Play; Racing Demon and June Moon at Theatre Three - 1997 & 1998 Dallas Observer, Best Play.  Directing credits include All in the Timing, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, A Comedy of Errors, Guys and Dolls, and High School Musical.  Mindi is an original company member of the improv comedy company The We're Not Your Mother Players.  She is a National Board Certified Theatre teacher at North Myrtle Beach High School where she selected as Teacher of the Year for 2006-2007.

Monica Bell

Monica Bell has appeared in over seventy productions and directed many works in both the academic and professional arenas. New York credits; Invention for Fathers and Sons (American Jewish Theatre), How It Hangs (West Side Arts Theatre), Lift, The Musical-Reading (York Theatre).  Regional credits include; The Pittsburgh Public, The Huntington Theatre, The Alabama Shakespeare  Festival,  The Utah Shakespearean  Festival , Pioneer Memorial Theatre, Madison Repertory Theatre, Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Syracuse Stage, The  Porthouse Theatre, The Warehouse Theatre, The Chautauqua Conservatory Theatre, Studio Arena, Theatre Virginia, New Mexico Repertory Theatre, The Dorset Theatre, The North Carolina Shakespeare Festival, national and international tours with The Suzuki Company.  Film and Television: Everything Relative (Sundance Film Festival), Law &Order (ABC) and A Perfect Minute with Martha (Comedy Central). Monica is an Assistant  Professor of Theatre at CCU.

 

Artistic Director - Actor (Marc)
John Woodson has over thirty years of professional experience as an actor and director. He has performed in over a hundred productions including; Jason in the Broadway production of Medea, starring Dame Diana Rigg; Kent in King Lear with Hal Holbrook at the Great Lakes Theatre Festival and Roundabout Theatre (Gerald Freedman directing), NYC; Kent in King Lear with F. Murray Abraham at the NY Shakespeare Festival/Public Theatre, Exeter in Henry V , NY Shakespeare Festival,Destiny of Me, Lucille Lortel Theatre, and Love Suicide at Schofield Barrack world Premiere,Signature Theatre Company-also a founding member.

Regionally, John has worked in many outstanding theatres including: Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Dallas Theatre Center, Alley Theatre, Alabama Shakespeare Festival (company member) Cleveland Playhouse, Williamstown Theatre Fesival, Philadelphia Theatre Company, Long Wharf, Buffalo Studio Arena and the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival (a founding company member).John served as Artisitc and Executive Director of The Warehouse Theatre in Greenville, SC from 2002-2006. John is an alum of the North Carolina School of the Arts.

Managing Director - Actor (Yvan)
Thom has been acting professionally for 16 years, has an MFA from Southern Methodist University and has appeared regionally at Sugarloaf Mountain Amphitheatre in Chillicothe, Ohio; Trustus in Columbia, South Carolina; the Dallas Theater Center, Kitchen Dog Theatre, the Shakespeare Festival of Dallas, Theatre Three and WaterTower Theater in Dallas, Texas; and the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Thom’s fight choreography has been featured in productions of Hamlet, I Hate Hamlet, Batboy: the Musical, A Streetcar Named Desire and Cabaret.  Directing credits include Moon over Buffalo, Still Life with Iris, All in the Timing, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, A Comedy of Errors, Overtones, The Flattering Word, The Cinderella Syndrome and Pizza Man.  Thom received a prestigious 2000 Leon Rabin Award nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of the villain Iago in Othello. Thom is committed to arts education and believes in the power of the arts to enrich and revitalize a community.  As an Artistic Associate of Atlantic Stage Theatre Company, he hopes to contribute to the growth of an artistic tradition here on the Grand Strand. Thom is a Teaching Associate at CCU.
 

Founding Member - Actor (Serge)
Steve Earnest is Associate Professor of Theater at Coastal Carolina University.  A member of SAG and AEA, he has worked professionally with Performance Riverside, The Burt Reynolds Theatre, Jupiter Theatre, Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theatre, The Colorado Shakespeare Festival, and the Riverside Theatre (Vero Beach). He holds a Ph.D. in Theatre from the University of Colorado and an M.F.A. from the University of Miami.

Marj has enjoyed stage managing in some wonderfully artistic and nurturing regional organizations, among them Boston Lyric Opera, Dallas Children’s Theatre, Porthouse Theatre Company and Texas Shakespeare Festival, with some wonderfully talented artists, including Colin Graham, Christopher Mattaliano, Leon Major, Keith Fowler, Rick Lombardo, Ellen McLaughlin, Stephen Spinella and Jenny Friend, on some incredible productions, of special note, Cryptogram by David Mamet, The Marriage of Figaro / Figaro Gets a Divorce by Eric Overmyer , Wenceslas Square by Larry Shue, L’Elisir d’Amore by Donizetti, Albert Herring by Benjamin Britten and most recently the premiere of Let Leaping Gods Fly!, an inspiring one-woman show by Marlene Hodgdon. Marj, a member of AEA, AGMA and SMA (Stage Managers’ Association), earned her MFA from the Yale School of Drama and is a Teaching Associate at Coastal Carolina University.
