My name is Thom Penn, Artistic Director of Atlantic Stage. I’m excited and honored to be writing to you about our upcoming season. In partnership with Coastal Carolina University, Atlantic Stage is the Myrtle Beach area’s only professional resident theatre committed to bringing you quality productions of classical, contemporary and new works that are enlightening and entertaining.

Our fourth season promises to offer laughs as well as tears as we expand to offer productions of six shows – among them a moving tribute to 9/11, a holiday cult classic, a new musical by a Tony Award-winning composer and a Pulitzer Prize winning play by Neil Simon.
